William Wright of Wellsville died Saturday July 1, 2017 at his home.
He was born December 10, 1940 in Stratton Ohio a son of the late Harold L. and Julia (Tribbett) Wright. Having lived his entire life in the area William Graduated from Salineville High School Class of 1958 and worked maintenance at Hall China for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force a member of the VFW Post 5647 and the Eagles #772.
William is survived by three sons: David Wright of East Liverpool, Nick Russell and his wife Cheri of UT and Mike Russell and his wife Brenda of Las Vegas NV; three daughters: Tina Cataldo and her husband Dan of Wellsville Oh, Cynthia Clutter and her husband Donald of East Liverpool and Rhonda Wright of Greencastle PA; four brothers: Delmar Wright of Greencastle PA, Roger Wright of east Liverpool, Lester Wright of Wellsville and Denny Wright of Wellsville; four sisters: Hazel Shinn of Wellsville, Elsie Rowe of Wellsville, Bonnie Ward of Wellsville and Penny Cline of Wellsville; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents William was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald Wright and Harold “Junior” Wright as well as 2 grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 2pm. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery
Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday form 2-4 and 6-8pm.
