William Wise

William “Bill” Edward Wise, 64, of Moundsville, WV passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Wheeling Medical Center, Wheeling, WV.

He was born May 26, 1950 in Wheeling, the son of the late Charles Robert and Mary Elizabeth (Hardie) Wise.

Bill was a Christian by faith, a 13 year veteran of the U.S. Army, having spent three tours in Germany during peace time, a former employee of Wal-Mart, life member of the Moundsville American Legion, Post #3 and an avid camper and fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Wise.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Norene (Hogan) Wise of Moundsville; son Will Edward Wise and his wife, Toni of Hilliard, OH; brother, Ronald Wise and his wife Louise of Sherrard, WV and four grandchildren, Michael Flannery, Sidney Flannery, Torren and Elise Wise all of Hilliard.

Per Bills request there will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the the Alzheimers/ Dementia Association of WV Chapter, 1601 Second Avenue, Charleston, WV 25387, in memory of Bill Wise.
