William “Bill” John Hooker

William “Bill” John Hooker, 70, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at OVMC in Wheeling, WV. He was born September 18, 1947, in Moundsville, son of the late Harry and Daisy (Winland) Hooker. Bill was a retired asphalt worker, he formerly worked for A-1 Excavating and Delta Asphalt, formerly worked for Marx Toy Plant and loved fishing, hunting and trapping. Bill is survived by his wife, Donna (Wells) Hooker of Moundsville; eight sons, John (Michele) Hooker of Moundsville, Jamie (Crissy) Hooker of Moundsville, Bernie (Nickie) Young of McMechen, Richard (Amy) Hooker of Bridgeport, OH, Robert (Shayna) Young of Maryland, Rocky and Donald Wells of Moundsville and Roy (Rachel) Hall of Steubenville, OH; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins; two brothers, Bernard Hooker of McMechen and Jim Johnson of Louisiana and an aunt, JoAnn Leasure of Moundsville. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 26, 2018, from 10am until time of service at noon at Care Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second St., Moundsville.
