Virginia “Jenny” Croft passed away on June 19, 2021 at her residence. 

Mrs. Croft was born on March 15, 1954 and lived in the area her entire life. The daughter of Jack & Joan Betteridge, Virginia was a graduate of Beaver Local High School. She retired from  East Liverpool City Hospital after 35 years.  In her free time, she enjoyed doing crafts, traveling and tending to her flower beds.                                              

Survivors include: her husband,Rich Croft, whom she married on June 29th, 1973; her sons: Jon R. Croft (Rachel) of Lisbon, Ohio, and Bruce A. Croft (Deidre), of East Liverpool, Ohio; brothers: John Betteridge, of Dun Eden, Florida, Brandon Betteridge of Newport News, Virginia; sisters: Christine Jackson, of East Liverpool, Ohio, & Kelly Betteridge, of Highlandtown, Ohio. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Blake Kennedy Croft, Madison Millhorn, Jaylie Berresford and Jordyn Croft.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22nd at the Martin Chapel of the Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta from 2-4 and 6-8.  The funeral service will take place following visitation at 8pm with Pastor David Kahnt of Buckeye Hospice officiating.
