Viktoria “Viola” (Toniola) Watson, 101, of Powhatan Point, OH, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.
She was born September 7, 1915, in Fairpoint, OH, the daughter of the late Frank Toniola and Maria (Testa) Toniola Martinelli.
Viola was a homemaker, member of the Powhatan Point United Methodist Church and a chartered member of the Powhatan Point Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, James Stewart Watson; infant son, James Stewart Watson, Jr.; two brothers, Van and Cicero Toniola; three sisters, Lucy Orum, Katie Rose & Alberta.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Ronald) Tomlinson of Powhatan Point, OH & Vicky (David) Morris of Muncie, IN; four grandchildren, Tracy (Thom) Biega of Bethlehem, WV, Jim (Judy) Tomlinson of Powhatan Point, Scott Morris of Indianapolis, IN & Matthew (Shannon) Morris of Fishers, IN and four great-grandchildren, Tyler & Delanie Tomlinson, Patrick Biega & Emilia Morris.
Graveside services for Viola will be held at noon, Thursday, March 30th 2017, at the Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, OH
Memorial contributions may be made to the Powhatan Point United Methodist Church, in care of Ruth Hyland, 102 Main Street, Powhatan Point, OH 43942.
Arrangements entrusted to CARE Funeral and Cremation Service, Moundsville.
