Steven Paul Gitlin II. 36, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on December 18, 1984 in Wheeling, WV.
Steven was a Probation officer for the WV Supreme Court of Appeals and a member of Ash Avenue Church of God. he loved bowling, fishing, poker and his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers and Miami Dolphins.
Steven is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thelma & Saul Gitlin; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Blumling and nephew Alex Fedak.
He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Brandi (Nuce) Gitlin of Moundsville; two daughters, Adalyn Rose and Elayna Marie Gitlin of Moundsville; father, Steven Paul Gitlin I and his wife Glenda Fedak of Fort Myers, FL;
Mother Kathy Serig and husband Kevin of Moundsville; maternal grandmother, Carolyn “Nunnie” May of Morgantown; siblings, Michael (Shelby) Serig of Jacksonville, FL, Michelle Serig of Alabama, Stephanie (Paul) Serig of Elm Grove, WV, Amy (Joe) Moses of Wheeling,
Sarah (John) Stocker of Japan and Jeff Fedak of Garden City, SC; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Julia) Nuce of Winston-Salem NC and Timothy Nuce of Morgantown, WV; mother-in-law, Lisa Nuce of Morgantown and father-in-law, Mark Nuce of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews and very close friends, Roy and Donna Clark of Moundsville, Harley and Alicia Shultz of Moundsville and Sean and Shelby Merinar of Morgantown; several more close friends; aunt, Sharon (Greg) Yahnke of Wheeling; several aunts and uncles; and his beloved dogs, Moose and Ace.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11-1 & 2 until time of services at 5pm, at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville with Pastor C.J. Plogger officiating.  Contributions to support the family can be made by CLICKING HERE or going to TMCFunding.com
