Steven E. Holmes, age 30 of Wheeling, WV. passed away on November 13, 2020.

He is survived by his wife Julie Holmes; children Jade, Kayden and Steven Lashare, Jace Dayton and Rhyder Wilhelm; parents Gary and Sherry Holmes; siblings, Jonathan Sampson, Kayla (Andy) Brock, Gary Lee Holmes, Jr., and Justin (Amanda) Holmes; maternal grandparents, Nancy Blake and Earl Sampson. Steven is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and several cousins.

Steven was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Ann Holmes; and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Blake.

    It's been a long time since we met back in 2015 but I have to thank you for being there for me when we were locked up together. I was clueless and you really took me under your wing and helped me out. I'll never forget those late night talks we would have laying on our bunks. I hope your in a better place brother.     Steven, you truly made a difference in my life. I remember the first and only time walking into NRJ you you just happened to be my cell mate. At first I was like oh shit lol. But we became close and you really helped me along the way. I remember our late night talks about life you you singing country songs you liked. You were real to me and honest and I am forever grateful for that. I stumbled at first when I got out but my wife and I have been together 8 years already and we have a 5 year old son, life is good. I will never forget you and I hope you are at peace. Thank you for being there at my lowest time honestly.
