Stanley R. Geho, Sr., 76 of GlenDale, WV, formerly of Moundsville, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 23rd, 2021. Beloved husband of 52 years to Diane Geho, beloved father to Stanley R. & Beth Geho, Jr, Kevin & Nikki Geho and Jay Geho, grandfather to Garett, Sloan, Corby, Jacob, Gavin, Landin, Tucker, Colton & Haiden Geho, Isaiah Saus, and great-grandson Benji,, brother to 3 sisters, Frances Geho Stollar, Goldie Geho Lilley and Rosa Anna Geho Filter. .

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Willard & Georgia (Gilbert) Geho, sisters Flossie Geho (child), Charlotte Rothwell, brothers Robert Geho, Grover Geho, & Thomas Geho, and sister Lula Geho Gilmore.

Stanley was a very hard working Christian man. He grew up on a horse farm in Silverhill, WV, the baby of nine children. He worked as a coal miner for 25 years, had his own construction business Geho’s Construction working with his three sons, Laborers Union, Asbestos Abatement, and most recently Moundsville Walmart where he quit three times and they convinced him to come back. Stan was an active member of the Cornerstone Church of God, served in the Army National Guard, loved watching the Steelers play, hunting and most of all preparing huge meals for his family of boys!

Visitation for Family & Friends will be held Friday, August 27th at the Cornerstone Church of God, 2401 First Street, Moundsville, WV 26041from 11am-1pm with Services immediately following officiated by Pastor Ron Wilfong.

Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Dinner at the Geho’s Home in Glen Dale immediately following the funeral service.
