Sonya Higgenbotham

Gifts & Memorial Donations

Sonya Ann Higgenbotham passed away peacefully at her home in Loomis, Ohio with her husband of 54 years, David Warren Higgenbotham by her side.
Sonya was born December 4, 1948 in Maynard Ohio, a daughter of the late George and Cecilia Klotz Bobot.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Josh Paulick.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by their two children, Kimberly Paulick and Michael (Kristen) Higgenbotham, grandchildren; David Paulick, Kiera Paulick and Dylan Higgenbotham
Sonya was the owner and operator of Sonya’s Sassy Scizzors, pursuing her dream job of being a cosmetologist. She had a natural talent for listening and making people smile. Her other passion was taking care of her husband, family and friends. Sonya made sure to never miss a grandchild’s sporting event, or a chance to specially prepare a dessert. She lived the Steelers almost as much as she loved her two dogs, Pebbles and Widgit, along with all of her animals over the years. Overall, Sonya was a caring, loving soul who will be missed by all whose heart she touched.
Family and close friends are invited to celebrate Sonya’s life on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 10 until the time of Memorial Service at Noon. Arrangements entrusted to the Care Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street, Saint Clairsville
