Shirley A. Hampson

Shirley Arlene Hampson, 70 of East Liverpool, Ohio passed away at Lifeline Hospital in Wintersville on Sunday, July 10, 2016 following a lengthy illness.
She was born in East Liverpool on June 5, 1946 the daughter of the late Earl Tice and Sara Liz (Zearley) Wilson.  Shirley was a graduate of Beaver Local High School and worked as a Nurse’s Aide for 10 years and was a member of the Living Well Church in Wellsville.
She is survived by a daughter:  Deanna Tice-Boley and her husband Jeff of East Liverpool, OH; three brothers:  Ed Tice of East Liverpool, Earl Tice of New Orleans, LA and Carl Wilson of East Liverpool, OH; three sisters:  Earla Watson of Wellsville, Lisa Smith of Alliance and Karen Dooley along with two grandchildren:  Christopher and Sara Gwilt of Weirton, WV.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hampson whom she married February 19, 1986 and two sisters:  Linda and Nancy.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Noon, at the Living Well Church in Wellsville with Pastor Dirk Hall of the church officiating.
The Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes was entrusted with her arrangements.
