Our family first met the Madzia's about 50 years ago, when they lived right across the street from my Grandparents. My brother Keith and I quickly became friends with Jeff and Kevin, to this very day. Sandra and George always welcomed our visits and she would cook breakfast for us or take us swimming. My brother and I will always be grateful for those memories.

My heart is heavy. Sandy was such a bright light in the world. I’ve known her my whole life, from a toddler discovering her and George smooching on her parents porch, marriage, buying a house across the street where I grew up. I got to witness true love and happiness between her, George and her family. I had the best look at how love is suppose to be, from my view across the street. She will be greatly missed.
