Sandra E. (Knight) Gorby

Sandra Elizabeth (Knight) Gorby, 74, of Moundsville, W.V, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Moundview Health Care, Moundsville.

She was born August 29, 1942, in Marshall County, WV, daughter of the late Ellis & Eva (Walton) Knight.

Sandra was a Methodist by faith, former school teacher at First Ward School, Moundsville and loved to read, use her computer and do puzzles.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard Gorby of Moundsville; two children, Richard Charles (Jessie) Gorby of Pittsburgh, PA and Amanda Elizabeth (Larry) Hill of Montana: brother, Charles (Beth) Knight of Wheeling, WV; four grandchildren, Allie Jeffords (Adam Estel), Ashley, Linsy and Hailey Hill and great grandchild, Adeline Estel.

Friends will be received Saturday, March 25, 2016 from 11am until time of service at noon at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville.

Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Garden, Sherrard, WV.
