Ruth Heiney

Ruth E. Heiney, 89, of East Liverpool passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022.
Born in East Liverpool on March 19th, 1932, Ruth was the daughter of the late George and Naomi (Claypool) Anderson. She lived in the area most of her life, graduating high school, marrying her first love, and starting a family here.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, William C. Johnson, her second husband, Thomas P. Heiney, her daughters Edna Eddy and Mary Catherine Matthews, her sons William C Johnson Jr., and Roy Johnson, her sister Betty Anderson, and her brothers Carl “Bud” Anderson and James Anderson.
She is survived by her sons Robert Johnson and Pete Johnson of East Liverpool, her sister Georgeana Emler and her brother Larry Tice, both of East Liverpool, as well as 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many many great great grandchildren.
Ruth’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Martin Chapel of CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists.
