Roy C. Keyser

Roy C. Keyser , 68, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.

He was born September, 8, 1945 in Marshall County, WV, son of the late Floyd and Helen Icard Keyser.

He was a Christian by faith, retired coal miner for McElroy mines, former owner of Keyser Logging and loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Butch, infant sister and grandson, Dustin Dougherty.

He is survived by his five children, Roy (Dena) Keyser, Megan Keyser, Tina (Matt) Corey, Laura Allen and Barb Hollobaugh; five step-children, Ralph (Beth Ann)  Plants, Mike (Sheroba) Decker, Christina Rice, James Rice and Steve (Carolyn) Rice; five sisters, Sally, Marie, Bonnie, Karen and Nancy; six brothers, Raymond, Doug, Larry, Kenny, Buster and Bill; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Skidder and Dozer.

Friends will be received Tuesday, July1, 2014 from 5-9pm at Care Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 2 at 11am.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
