Roxanne (Rich-McCool) Slonaker

SLONAKER, Roxanne (Rich-McCool) lost her four (4) year battle with Breast Cancer.  She passed as comfortably as possible surrounded continuously by members of the family.

Roxanne nearly lived her entire life in McMechen, WV while attending Center McMechen School, Union Jr. High, John Marshall High School (75) and Wheeling Beauty College (76).

Her parents Kathryn Elizabeth Wilcox-Rich and Rocco Patsy Rich are deceased and survived by a sister Sandra Jean Rich-Whiteman of Lancing, OH.   Married  Joseph Michael McCool on April 10, 1976 having two fine boys.  Cory McCool in 1977 and Brandon McCool in 1984 presently both married and living in Columbus, OH.  Roxanne was most proud of her two Grandchildren Tallon and Peyton.  She married a second time to Jeffrey L. Slonaker on September 20, 1991 remaining in McMechen, WV.

Roxanne was one of the most talented individuals who cut hair thirty-four years, toll painted just about anything, could cook wonderfully and had her home just the way you’d want one.

She was full of life and would excite just about anyone she spoke.

The family has two opportunities to invite you to say good-bye to Roxanne at 4-8pm Fri. and 11-3:30pm Sat. gathering at Care Funeral Home 1500 2nd Street, Moundsville, WV ending with short service.
