Rosalie “Rose” Clark

Rosalie “Rose” Clark passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at home surrounded by her family and loved
ones.

Rose was born at home on McCreary’s Ridge, Moundsville, WV to the late Donald and Rosa Burkey.

She spent most of her life working on her farm and then later in life, volunteering at the Cameron Blue
and Gold Thrift Shop. She was a writer for the Farm and Dairy newspaper and had her own business of
running a consignment shop for many years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Pleasant
Valley WV where she served as the Church Secretary.

In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her thirteen siblings.

She is survived by her three children, Cindy Maloney of San Antonio TX, Tonya Gatts of Glen Easton WV,
and Russell (Jodi) Dotson of Cameron WV. 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, April 10, 2022, from 4-7pm and Monday, April 11, 2022,
from 10am until time of service at 11am with Pastor Danny O’Neil at CARE Funeral Home, 1500 Second
Street Moundsville, WV. Interment at Limestone Presbyterian Church.
