Johnson, Robert William, 75, of Moundsville, W.Va. died Monday, May 8, 2017 in Ruby Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1942, in Glen Dale, W.Va., a son of the late Clarence S. and Retta (Neely) Johnson. He worked Fostoria Glass and the Marx Toy Plant. He was a veteran of the 150th Army National Guard with honorable discharge. He was a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William Tracy Johnson, five sisters, and two brothers.

He is survived by four sons, Robert V. Johnson, Barry D. Johnson, Vincent L. Johnson, and Steven T. Johnson; one daughter, Angela Sue Marling; three sisters, Betty, Glenda, and Lou; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 12 pm until time of Funeral Service at 4 pm at the CARE Funeral Home, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, with Rev. Wayne Cross officiating. Military honors will follow.
