I knew Bob from teaching in the Forest Hills School District. For many years I have hosted a get together for retired staff – Bob seldom missed a party – he attended in early June. I am so sorry to hear of his death as I had no idea he was ill I will miss seeing him and send you my deepest sympathy for your loss.

"Mr Posock was a great teacher ( in my student days ) and a wonderful colleague when I returned to school as a teacher. He was so respected I had a hard time calling him Bob ( as he asked me to) so I just kept calling him Mr Posock. We will miss him."

Mr. Posock was my seventh and eighth grade math teacher at Anderson, 1963-1964. He was the best math teacher I ever had, and probably my all-time favorite teacher. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Bob became a dear friend within a short period of time. We worked out at the gym he attended and always shared conversation. We will miss you!

    Dan Young says:
I met Bob in 1966 as a first year math teacher at Anderson Junior High School in the Forest Hills School District in Cincinnati. He became my mentor and friend and he gave me many good tips of advice to help me begin my teaching career. Much later in life, after both of us were retired, we began playing golf together and continued weekly for the last 20 years. Since he was so much better than I, I always told him that I wished he would have given me as much advice on golf as he did math. Bob was a great friend to play with but even more so to talk with about the Reds, Bengals, and the TV shows we were watching. I am really going to miss my good friend.
