Robert Lee McElfresh

Robert Lee McElfresh, Sr., 71, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 8, 1949 in Marshall County, WV, to the late Charles “Woodie” and Goldie (Cumbridge) McElfresh. Bob enjoyed reading, watching cops shows and tarot card readings, but above everything else, he cherished the time he had with his family. For many years he worked as a security guard at the Fostoria Plant.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, including Rob McElfresh Jr.; a grandson, Rob McElfresh III; three brothers, Charles “Chuck”, Woodrow and Larry McElfresh and one sister, Patricia Rayner.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Kuzma) McElfresh, of 26 years; children, James McElfresh (Shelby Clayton) , Jessica (King) Allah, Crystal Wright, Angel (Roger) Pilkenton and three other children from his first marriage to Lucille McElfresh; siblings, Donna Wright and Tom McElfresh; 37 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at CARE Funeral and Cremation Services, 1500 Second Street, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11 at 10 am with Pastor Mike Eskridge officiating.
