Robert Duffy

Robert I. Duffy, Sr., 65, of Moundsville, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Home.

He was born February 13, 1944 in Marshall Co., WV the son of the late Ira W. Duffy and Freda Virginia Thomas Duffy.

Robert was an electrician and worked in the coal industry for many years, he was a member of the Moundsville Eagles, the Moundsville American Legion, the Moundsville V.F.W. and the Moundsville Moose Lodge.  He enjoyed camping in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Billy Leeland Duffy.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn L. Baker Duffy of Moundsville; a son Robert Duffy Jr. and his wife Shelly of Moundsville; a daughter Vonnie Finnegan and her husband Tom of Moundsville; 2 sisters, Virginia Conner of Moundsville and Betty Duffy of Sarasota Fl; a brother John Duffy and his wife Linda of Moundsville; numerous grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family
