Robert D. Burgy Jr, 53 of Bellaire passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at East Ohio Regional Hospital

He was born June 24, 1968 in Bellaire, Ohio, the youngest child and only son of the late Robert D. Burgy Sr. and Phyllis J. Gray Burgy

Robert was a Jehovah’s Witness, a lifelong resident of the Ohio Valley and had a passion for cooking.

Surviving are his children, Hope (Bill) Plants, Julie Burgy, Robert Burgy III, and Matthue Burgy,sisters; Debbie (Denny) Burgy, Rose McFarland, and Beverly (Tom) Shunk, girlfriend, Linda Heath, thirteen grandchildren, four nieces, and five nephews.

Per Robert’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services

Arrangements are entrusted to Care Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

    Rob spent the last 3 months with his neice Billie Jo ( Wiles) Kloss and I. I'm glad that he did. He new time was short. He kept telling me but he was happy that he got to relax and enjoy himself. Rob and I are the same age, Even though we went to same school had a lot of the same friends we never really hung out much we knew whom each other was. Let me tell you this I'm glad I got toknow Rob. He loved all his family he loved his animals and he just wanted to be at peace. So with that being said. Rest in peace Robbie We love you. We miss you.
