Richard Lee Groskopf, 60, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born November 15, 1960, son of William H. and Olive (Renshaw) Groskopf. Rick worked construction all his life. in his free time he enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his friends and fur-baby, Willie. Rick was always out helping friends and neighbors with projects. He always voiced he wanted to be an organ donor, and the family takes comfort knowing several of his organs are giving life to others.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Mike Groskopf.

Rick is survived by his wife, Tobi (Fahnestock) Groskopf; three sisters, Mary Jones, Patty (Will) Fish and Debra (Doug) Benedetti; one brother, William Groskopf III; several nieces and nephews and his 3 closet friends, Bobby Briggs, Mike Carr and Ronny Oneil.

Per Rick’s wishes, there will be no visitation.

    When l moved into my house 1hr later the rain knocked out my skylight flooding my house l called Rick & he came over right away,after checking it he went to Lowes had all the material needed, he worked on that house till it was all done, he has left a hole in our lives, sadly missed by many
