Richard R. Chamberlin, 96, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

Mr. Chamberlin was born in East Liverpool on May 7, 1928. The son of the late Leonard and Alice (Fair) Chamberlin he had lived his entire life in this area. After graduation from high school Mr. Chamberlin served in the National Guard. He was then employed at the Quaker State Oil in Newell before retiring in 1991.

Survivors include a son, John P. Chamberlin, of Columbiana, and a daughter, Lee A. Chamberlin, of Hilliard, Ohio. Also surviving is his wife’s daughter, Lisa VanDyke, who helped take care of him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: his wife, Blanche (Tice) Chamberlin, who passed away in 2017, a son, Jeffrey D. Chamberlin, and a brother, Paul Chamberlin.

Friends may call at the Martin Chapel of the Care Funeral and Cremation Specialists, formerly the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home, on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 2 to 4 PM. Burial will be in the Columbiana Co. Memorial Park.

Due to the Covid 19 guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required.
