Raymond Edward Conner Sr., 79, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Wheeling Hospital – WVU.

He was born on April 10, 1942, in Proctor, WV, a son of the late George and Elsie (Darrah) Conner. Raymond was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and a former member of the VFW and American Legion.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Betty Mae (Dawson) Conner; one son, Raymond E. Conner Jr.; three step-sons, Tim Whorton, David Whorton and Eugene (Cindy) Whorton; four siblings, Mary Jane McVay, JoAnn Hafer, Ernest (Charlene) Conner and Jay (Patty) Conner; five grandchildren, Christopher Whorton, Theresa Whorton, Shyanne Rosier, Eugene Whorton IV and Deana Conner; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
