Ray Forest Flint Jr., 87 passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born in East Liverpool on January 7, 1929 a son to the late Ray and Clara (Baker) Flint Sr. Living his entire life in this area, he worked for Crucible Steel for 30 years retiring in 1982, after working for Crucible he worked for Wallover Oil as a chemist retiring in 2001. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and at one time coached youth baseball and was a faithful attendant of every sporting event for his grandchildren.
He is survived at home by his fiancé Sue Fizer; a son: Robert Flint and his wife Terri of Calcutta, OH; two daughters: Connie Barker and her husband Gary and Diana Hambleton and her husband Brett both of Calcutta, OH; a brother: Jerry Flint of Elkhart, IN; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Garnet E. Flint.
Private family services were held at the Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery of Calcutta. The Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes were entrusted with his arrangements.
