Ralph Miller

Ralph Miller,95, of East Liverpool died at home on Sunday December 15, 2019.
He was born in East Liverpool on June 3, 1924 a son of the late Daniel Miller and Eva (Wilson) Miller. Having lived his entire life in the area, Ralph worked as a manager of Kerrs Lumber from which he retired in 1983 after 38 years. He was also a member of the Carpenters Union as well as Fredericktown Christian Church.
Ralph had an amazing sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was a very dedicated husband and father and enjoyed gardening.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 74 years Thelma (Dailey) Miller whom he married on July 30, 1945; two sons: David Miller (Shirley) of Hanoverton and Larry D. Miller (Loretta) of East Liverpool; a daughter: Karen Miller of Boardman; three sisters: Hazel Ward of Negley, Roberta Allen of East Liverpool and Beulah Holden of Lima OH; six grandchildren: Jody (Chris) Lease, Tonya (Jason) Gamble, Amy Miller, Cristy (B.J.) Conrad, Danyell Miller and Bryan Miller as well as 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by a brother: Walter Miller and three sisters Betty Holden, Ester Sims and Mildred Green.
A funeral service will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Calcutta Chapel on Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 1PM with Pastor Jim Equels Sr. of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 AM up until the time of service at 1 pm.
