Peggy Joan (Calissie) Corkran, 90, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023.

She was born in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Arch and Cora Calissie. Peggy retired from Wheeling Stamping Company and enjoyed doing crafts.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas H. Corkran Sr.; two brothers, Charles and Jerry; one sister, Lavina “Doll” and a step-son, Scott “Skeeter”.

Peggy is survived by her two children, Brian (Holly) and Debra (Rus); five grandsons, Josh, Toby, Ayden, Scott and Kody; one great-grandson, Samuel and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

    Aunt Peggy, she was my best Friend and Aunt. Wedid a lot of things togethe. We went swimming, went to the beaches, went Christmas shopping and she always got me and Joanie ice cream at Murphy’s every year. I watched Brian and Deb when they worked or went grocery shopping. Peggy and I had a wonderful time together and after mom passed away she was my rock. She was always there for me and she meant the world to me. I’m really gonna miss seeing Aunt Peggy. It’s not gonna be the same going home especially on the holidays. I love you and I miss you already. Give my love to Mom, Tony, Pap and everyone. I know since you all are together again that you’re all having a party. I love you and I miss you already. RIP Aunt Peggy
