My heart is broken over the loss of this wonderful sweet man. Mr. Monte was a regular customer of ours at Calcutta Mcdonalds. In fact he was the first person to place an order at the new store once we had re-opened! He was by far one of the sweetest human beings i have ever meant. He had soooo much love & care for his wife, his family & food. That’s all we ever talked about. I’m so sorry for your loss, we will sure miss seeing his smiling face at Mcdonalds!!!

    Dana Linger says:
Paul was our neighbor but really was so much more. He called my husband and I his other kids. He was Pops to me. We were blessed to have Iva and Pops as neighbors. We nearly moved once. Had our stuff packed, loaded, and left. He was so upset. I still remember him waving us off behind tears in his eyes as we drove away. I'll will also always remember the look on his face when we pulled back in our driveway and told him the neighbors didn't meet up to the high expectations he set. The pure joy and happiness he had realizing we were again his neighbors showed on his face. He was certainly the best of the best when it came to neighbors but again, he was more than 'just' that. He was our friend. He was my Pops. We will miss him dearly. People like him are once in a lifetime type of thing. ❤

I grew up by the Monte family and I loved them all. I can't think of my youth without thinking of my first friend Jean Ann Monte and her sisters and all her brothers. They made me feel like one of their own. I am so sorry for their loss of Paul.
