It is with great sadness that the family of Mollie Kaye (Pond) Smith announces her passing after a lengthy illness, on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at the age of 78 years.
Mollie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Michael, and her five children, Sidney (Vickie), Michael (Liz), Charlotte (Harold), Richard (Linda), and Sylvia (James); and her three step-children Valerie, Jason, and Lynette (Chris). Mollie will also be fondly remembered by her 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and by her two sisters and a brother.
Mollie was predeceased by her mother, father, one sister, and one grandson.
A viewing for friends and family will be on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm, and the funeral service in memory of Mollie will be held on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Care Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV 26041. Interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery, 1854 Round Bottom Hill Road, Moundsville, WV 26041.
