Michael James Smith,age 43, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman
on Saturday,November 26, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
Born in East Liverpool on September 14, 1979, Michael is the son of John D. and
Barbara (Lumsden) Smith and had lived in this area his entire Life. A graduate of
East Liverpool High School, class of 1998, and the University of Miami of Ohio with
a degree in Marketing. After graduation Michael worked as the Regional
Marketing Director for Tommy Hilfiger. He last worked in Marketing for the David
Yurman Company.
Mike loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his sister, Laurie Brennen and her
husband, Matt, of East Liverpool and a brother, Steve Smith, and his wife,
Michelle, of Georgia; his nieces, Haley, Hannah, and Emma and his nephews
Maddox and Jackson.
Friends may visit with the family at the Martin Chapel of the Care Funeral and
Cremation Specialist in Calcutta on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 1 to 3 PM and
up until time of Services at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Dan Tayman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, friends may send donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society at
1501 Reedsdale Street Suite 105 Pittsburgh, Pa. 15233.
