Mauricia H. Coles, age 87, of Wellsville passed away on December 27, 2022 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Mauricia was born November 22, 1935 in the Philippines, the daughter of the late Marcos and Emeteria (Hernandez) Lambo.

In addition to her parents, Mauricia was preceded in death on November 17, 2017 by her husband, Samuel Coles jr., whom she married April 15, 1972. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Catalino Lambo.

She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception church in Wellsville.

Survivors include one daughter, Felipa Lambo; three sons: Rolando (Shirley) Lambo, of California, Luis Lambo, of Columbus, and Diego (Tammy) Lambo, of Calcutta. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 12  great grandchildren; two sisters: Marababol and Josephine Versales; and one brother, Paulino Lambo, all of the Philippines. 

Mauricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was also an excellent cook and baker, and was known for her homemade pies and cakes. Her hobbies included growing plants and caring for flowers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022  from 11AM-1PM at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists- MacLean Chapel, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville.  The funeral will be held at 1PM with Pastor Dirk Hall from The Living Well Church officiating
