Mary Virginia (Kuhn) Gonchoff

Mary Virginia (Kuhn) Gonchoff, 88, of Miami, FL, formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at her home.

Mary was born September 11, 1933, in Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Luther and Alberta Beatrice (Snyder) Kuhn.

Mary was a Catholic by faith, homemaker and former owner and Operator of Gonchoff’s Gifts. She loved to travel, spend time with her family and most of all shop.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gonchoff; a son, Joseph Gonchoff; a daughter, Dianna Wallace; sisters, Edna Mae Martin, Marjorie Leek and Doris “Duck” Baker; brother, Bill Kuhn and two grandchildren, Cierra Nicole Sagona and C.C. Day.

She is survived by four children, Steve (Kari) Gonchoff of Moundsville, Frank (Tonia) Gonchoff of Moundsville, Jeannie (Cliff) Conner of Cyclone, PA and Kelly (Russ) Sagona of Miami, FL; son-in-law, Rodney Wallace of Moundsville; a sister, Vernetta Auten of Moundsville; a brother-in-law, Joe Gonchoff; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 1-3 & 5-8 pm, Sunday, September 19, 2021, at CARE Funeral Home, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, where funeral service will be held at 11 am, Monday, September 20, 2021, with Susie Noble officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
