Mary Allison

Mary C. (Helms) Allison, 77, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 21, 1933 in Marshall County, WV the daughter of the late Charles E. & Mary C. (Loy) Helms.

She was Christian by faith.  She worked at the former U.S. Stamping Co. in Moundsville and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the TOPS diet club and enjoyed sewing and working puzzle books in her free time.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Allison, Sr.; an infant son; a son Daniel Lilley; a sister Dorothy Greene; and a brother Charles Helms, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Jerry) Caldwell of Valley Grove, WV and Connie Lilley of Moundsville; a daughter-in-law Patty McCombs Lilley of Cameron, WV; a grandson Daniel (Danielle) Lilley of Cameron, WV; granddaughters Amanda (Tyler) MacKay and Sarah (Andrew) Dean both of Rock Hill, SC; great-grandsons Eli Lilley of Cameron, WV and Mason MacKay of Rock Hill, SC; a brother Donald (Cathy) Helms of Waynesburg, PA; and sisters Ruth (Helms) Johnson of Glen Dale and Sue

(Helms) Wnek of Shadyside, OH.

Visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2010 from 2 – 4 p.m. and from 6 – 8 p.m. at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, where services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Sessums officiating.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
