Marlene D’Alessio, 73, of Wellsville, passed away at Salem West Healthcare Center, on Thursday, September 9, 2021 after a lengthy illness.  

 

Marlene was born in East Liverpool, OH on January 17, 1948, the daughter of the late Clinton Samberson and Lois Bailey Albaneso.  Marlene graduated from Wellsville High School with the class of 1966 and lived in the area her entire life.  Marlene was the owner of Country Glass and Door for 30 years.  She was a member of the Wellsville Alumni Activities Committee, past Treasurer of the Moose Lodge, and served on the Class of 1966 Reunion Committee.

 

Marlene is survived by: Joseph D’Alessio, her companion of 50 years; her sister, Linda Kidder; six nieces: Michelle Della-Penna, Rayette (Randall) Eltringham, Linda Price, Melissa (Joseph) Gibson, Kristina Hickman, and Jessica Albaneso; and her nephew, Ralph (Shawna) Albaneso.  She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, Marlene was also preceded in death by: her brother, Ralph Albaneso.

 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists- MacLean Chapel  509 Riverside Avenue, Wellsville.  The funeral will follow at 6PM with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.
