Lydia L. Morris, 61, died at East Liverpool City Hospital on February 22, 2020 following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Steubenville on August 9, 1958 a daughter of the late Everett and Esther (Newlin) Alford. Having lived all her life in the area Lydia worked in the clay shop at the former Sterling China Co and was a Christian by faith.
Lydia is survived by her husband: Fred Morris whom she married October 10, 1974; a daughter: Bridget Stone and her husband Doug of New Somerset; three brothers: Ronald Alford of California, Darrell Alford of Columbiana and Alvin Alford of East Liverpool; two sisters: Ella Plemmons of East Liverpool and Edith Alford of SC.
In addition to her parents Lydia was preceded in death by three brothers: Ernest Alford, Jerald Alford, Benjamine Alford and four sisters: Irma Lucas, Phyllis Perdue, Della Alford and Eleanor Cooper.
The family will be present to receive friends at the Care Funeral & Cremation Services MacLean Chapel on Wednesday from 3-7PM.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers that friends and family plant flowers at their home in Lydias memory this year.
