Loretta Marie Conner

Loretta Marie Conner, 77, of Moundsville, WV, passed away at home with family by her side.

She was born in Glen Dale, WV, December 27, 1944, a daughter of the late Ida (Nice) Williams and William Pettit. Loretta loved to dance and listen to music, play dominoes, checkers, bingo and scratch off tickets. She cherished her family more than anything, when they would come to visit, family cookouts and camping trips. Loretta was known for walking everywhere she went.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Conner; companion Elwood Slider; two half-sisters, Charollete South and Opal Pettit; two half-brothers, James and Berl Pettit and a son-in-law, Jim Davis.

Loretta is survived by her six children, Roy Conner, Becky Davis, Dave (Shelly) Conner, Jesse Conner and his fiance Belinda Parsons, Lori (Greg) Preston and Michele (John) Raymond; 1 brother, Paul Williams; 20 grandchildren, Roy, Jeremy, Lisa, Billy, Hannah, Michael, Noah, Brea, Whitney, Heath, Charles, Haleigh, Coen, Kate, Lincoln, John, Caroline, Jolene, Kimberly and Brandon; 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Friday, May 27, 2022 from 11 am until time of service at 2 pm at CARE Funeral and Cremation, 1500 Second St., Moundsville. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
