Linda K. McCollam, age 74, passed away on December 20th, 2020 at her residence from complications of Alzheimer’s.

Mrs. McCollam was born in Irondale, Ohio and lived in the area her entire life. The daughter of the late Sam Puckett and Ruby (Cline) Puckett, Linda was a graduate of Southern Local High School and was a CNA, working many years at the former Nentwick’s Convalescent Home, now known as Valley Oaks.

Linda enjoyed being around seniors and senior groups. She was also a member of the Thumping for Jesus band of Chester.

Survivors include her husband: Timothy McCollam whom she married on July 9th 1965; a son: Timothy McCollam of Newell, West Virginia; three daughters: Lori Adkins of Martinsburg, West Virignia, Kimberly McCollam of Chester, West Virginia, Amy Freeman (Geoff) of New Cumberland, West Virginia; one sister: Yvonne Kimble of Chester, West Virginia, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.

In addition to her parents, preceding her in death are brothers: Ray and Roy Puckett and her sister Doris Morgan

In compliance with Ohio state regulations and in connection to the COVID-19 public health crisis, visitation with mandatory masks and proper social distancing will be held on Wednesday December 23rd from 2p-4p and 6p-8p at MacLean Chapel of the Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Wellsville.  The funeral service will take place December 24th at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Dennis Arnold officiating
