Lawrence “Bud” Palmer Sr., 77, of Shadyside, passed away on February 4, 2022 at the Continuing Healthcare of Shadyside, OH

He was born on December 5, 1944 to Lawrence Setho Sr. and Bernice (Burge) Palmer in Bellaire, OH.

Bud enjoyed watching the weather and Westerns in his spare time. He was a jack of all trades, a tinkerer, and an ornery mechanic who could fix it all.

He enjoyed riding horses, bikes, and fixing trucks in his earlier years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four of his five siblings.

Lawrence is survived by his life partner, roommate, and caretaker of 46 years, Thelma “Vera” Kuhn, his brother Bobby (Linda) Palmer of Idaho. four children: Cindy Palmer of Shadyside, OH, Lawrence “Bub” (Bernice) Palmer Jr. of Shadyside, OH, Penny (Wade Berisford Hancock) Palmer of Shadyside, OH; Bobby (Kristi) Kuhn of Jacobsburg, OH; grandchildren: Jonee Schmidt, Carissa (Houston) Tucker, Haley, Levi, and Cole Palmer, Ashley (Dan Ludwigson) Nida, Heather Schmidt, Amber Dawson, Jessica Kuhn, Stacey Kuhn; three great-grandchildren: Arianna, Liam, and Baylyn Steed.

    For the 20 plus years I had the pleasure of knowing Bud as a father, grandfather, and friend. He always came and seen the kids, had coffee, lunch, and showed and helped me fixed multiple things, always was present for birthdays and any other outings we had. Bud forsure loved to tinker around with everything. I'm truly sorry to hear that he has left this world. I will cherish Bud in my heart and all the memories. surely Bud will be missed.
