Lakyn Ciara Burge, age 23, of Moundsville, WV passed away on April 22, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Diana Burge; great-grandparents Ralph and Delores Burge, Ronald and Anna Ward; uncle Ralph Burge, Jr.
Lakyn enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing and riding ATVs. A young woman of many talents, she loved to read and aspired to become a nurse as she had such a big heart. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children Kaeson Confer and Kinzlynn Burge; mother Angela Burge; father K.C. Vanover; grandparents Edward (Tracie) Burge, Mick (Cindy) Menendez; grandmother Mary Ann Burge; uncles J.B. (Kim) Burge, Edward (Julie) Burge, Jr., Cody Kernan; aunt Jessica (Andy) Jones; several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021, 2-4 & 6-8 pm and a Celebration of Life on Friday, April 30, 2021, 11 am (please wear purple) at Care Funeral Home, 1500 2nd St. Moundsville, WV 26041, followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.

A luncheon will be held at Harvest Baptist Church, 1207 Covert St. Moundsville, WV 26041 immediately after.
Memorial donations may be mailed to Edward Burge, 2903 Fernwood Ave., Moundsville, WV 26041 to help contribute toward her children’s future.

    She was such a beautiful soul inside & out. Her smile and beautiful eyes was enough to bright up even the darkest rooms. She had a one of a kind personality that easily won people over! She was talented in many different ways & had a heart of pure gold! My heart hurts that the family has to go on without her, especially her babies! Prayers with you all
