Katherine Elizabeth (Zien) Sadaly 90, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV.
She was born in Wheeling on November 23, 1930, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Cielin) Zien.
Katherine worked many different positions at her families restaurant, Ziens, and was a former member of the Saint Mary’s Ukranian Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sadaly; brothers, John, Bill & Peter and two sisters, Genevieve Birch and Ann Kuclo.
Surviving are her children, David (Nancy) Sadaly of Erie, PA, Michael Sadaly of Moundsville and Caroline (Dan) Glus of Fayetteville, NC; brothers, Andrew (Mildred) Zien of Las Vegas, NV and Walter (Delores) Zien of Wheeling; grandson, Jacob Sadaly and three granddaughters, Deanna Glus, Kristen (Brian) Johnson and Joy (Aaron ) Taylor.
Per Katherine’s request, there will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
