Judy Ann Orr, 65, of Irondale, OH passed away at her home following a lengthy illness.  Judy was born on May 13, 1955, the daughter of the late William and Betty (Hayhurst) Rice.  

 

Judy was a graduate of Stanton High School with the Class of 1979 and lived her entire life in the area.  She was employed through Trinity Hospital, working positions in housekeeping and the mailroom.  She also spent time volunteering with the Hammondsville Food Pantry as well as serving as a Deacon and Elder at Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church in Wellsville.

 

Judy married the love of her life, William Thomas Orr, on September 19, 1989 and spent the next 32 years making special memories with him.  

 

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, William Orr, and her children: William Thomas Orr II, Douglas Fredrick Orr, Travis William Orr, Gordon Bruce Black, and Shannon Rae Watters.  She is also survived by six siblings: John Rice, Gary Rice, Carol Henthorn, Robert (Terri) Rice, Pam (Danny) Channels, and Betty (Richard) Brant.

 

Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by four brothers: Daniel Rice, Jerry Rice, James Rice, and Michael Rice.  

 

Visitation will be held from 10AM-12PM,  Monday, April 26, 2021 at CARE Funeral and Cremation Specialists – MacLean Chapel located at 509 Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, OH.  The funeral will follow at 12PM.  Burial will be at Yellow Creek Cemetery in Wellsville, with a memorial dinner to follow.

 

 In compliance with Ohio state regulations and in connection with the COVID-19 public health crisis, masks and social distancing are required.
