Joyce Faye Reed

Joyce Faye Reed, 70 of Wellsville, Ohio passed away at her residence on Monday, May 28, 2018 following a lengthy illness.
She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on May 8, 1948, a daughter of the late Harold and Ellen (Henthorne) Dalrymple. Living all of her life in this area, Joyce worked in the Dietary Department for East Liverpool City Hospital and was a homemaker. She was a stay at home mom and dedicated to her children and grandchildren and attended Wellsville First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband Donald Reed whom she married January 27, 1973; a son: Troy Phillips of Wellsville, OH; two daughters: Tammy Hoschar and Dawn Thrasher both of Wellsville, OH; two brothers: Dave Dalrymple and his wife Marleen and Don Dalrylmple and his wife Diana both of East Liverpool, OH; two sisters: Opal Anderson of Rayland, OH and Susan Joy of Wellsville, OH; grandchildren: Brittany Hoschar, Skyler Thrasher and Rebecca Phillips and a sister-in-law: JoAnne Dalrymple of Wellsville, OH.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Bill, Mick and Frank Dalrymple; a sister: Linda Brown; a granddaughter: Sheena Hoschar and two brothers-in-law: Perry Anderson and Larry Joy.
Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 12 PM with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Wellsville funeral home Friday, June 1, 2018 from 10 AM up until the time of service at Noon.
