Joyce A. Brown, 88, formerly of Wellsville passed away at her daughters residence on Saturday April 4, 2020 following a sudden illness.

She was born in Wellsville Ohio on December 20, 1931 a daughter of the late Everett D. Andrews and Audrey M.  Allen. Having lived her entire life in the area Joyce was a graduate of Wellsville High School class of 1949, worked as a rental manager for Lexford Properties Inc. for 8 years and worked for many years at Walmart in Calcutta. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church in Wellsville where she sang in the choir and was part of the Christian Womens Fellowship. Joyce was also a member of the Eastern Star in East Liverpool. She was a loving mother and enjoyed spending her time completing puzzles, working in the yard and playing ball with her grandpup Tonka ,watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Joyce is survived by a daughter: Heidi Brown- Smith and her husband Jeff of East Liverpool; a son: Kevin A. Brown of New Port Richey FL; a grandson: Ian Powell of Kingston Ontario Canada and a grandpup Tonka James who was her favorite little boy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Brown whom she married March 2, 1951; a daughter: Roberta G. Mooney and two sisters: Mary Brennen and Shirley Andrews.

A private graveside service will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
