Jon David Fromhart, 72, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1946 in Lakewood, OH, the son of the late Frederick and Betty (Black) Fromhart. He was a retired Deputy Warden for the WV Department of Corrections and a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville, avid hunter and fisherman, a lifetime member of Elites Rod and Gun Club and best known for his ability to tell stories. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory “Shad” Fromhart. David is survived by his son, Shayne ( Michelle ) Fromhart of Springhill, FL; two brothers, Jeff (Daunetta) and Brad (Denise) Fromhart of Moundsville; grandson, Barrett Mason Fromhart of FL. and four nephews and a niece, Joshua, Jacob, Jeremiah, Todd and Summer Fromhart.     Very sorry to hear about Dave. Always enjoyed his dry humor and his story telling, including his sneaking into the confession booth while a student at Bishop Donahue. I'm sure if there's a Heaven those in "in charge" are having a laugh about it now. My thoughts and sympathy go out to all of his family and many friends.
