John Scott Baker, 50, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 23, 1968, a son of the late William Dorsey Baker Sr. and Esther Ilean Workman Fox. John had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need. He had a passion for motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Dorsey Baker II.

John is survived by his three children, Ariana Baker, Leah Baker and Devin Woodburn; seven siblings, David (Cathie) Baker of Citrus Heights, CA, Maggie Lightner of Moundsville, Rhonda Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Alicia (Larry) McClintock of Glen Dale, Tania (Kent) Simms of Cottonwood, AZ, Ronnie (Lisa) Kleineke of Mingo Junction, OH and Kelly (Bubba) Martin of Steubenville, OH and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at 6 pm at Cornerstone Church of God, on First Street and Poplar Ave., Moundsville, with Pastor Ron Wilfong officiating.
