Joanne Totterdale, 72 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday February 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born September 6, 1948 a daughter of the late John and Martha (Namey) Ruggerio in Wheeling.
Joanne worked for Bellaire Hospital as a receptionist in the radiology department right out of school and then again later in life where she retired from.
She was a graduate of St. John Central High School and was a Catholic by faith.
Joanne loved to cook, her lasagna was the best.
She made wonderful Lebanese dishes and could make anything taste good.
She also enjoyed gardening, and in her youth was an accomplished artist.
Joanne also worked in Real Estate for a time.
She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Phillip and John Ruggerio. Joanne is survived by her children, David (Jennifer) Totterdale of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Erin Wells of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Tricia Kyer of Lloydsville, Ohio.
In addition she is survived by her siblings, Rose Marie Carroll of Clearview Heights, WV and Sister Mary Palmer of Wheeling, WV, along with six grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, CJ, Kyle, Kelby and Ceceila.
In accordance with her wishes no formal services will be held.
Final disposition will be held at the convenience of the family.
