Jo Ann Throckmorton, 73, of Hannibal, Ohio passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 5, 1938, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary
Jo Ann was an accomplished Artist and dearly loved her family and animals. She was always thinking of others and never knew a stranger.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jack, at home; two sons, Jack Throckmorton Jr. of Tyler County, WV and Joseph (Keesha) Throckmorton of Sistersville, WV; a daughter, Sondra Throckmorton of Hannibal, Ohio; three brothers, Johnny White of OR., Gene (Diane) White of New Martinsville, WV and David
(Delores) White of Paden City, WV; one sister, Debby (Bodey) Smith of Sardis, Ohio; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jo Ann’s name to the American Cancer Society, East Central Division, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
