Jimmy Marcine Brown, 68, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his home.

Jimmy was born June 12, 1955 in Glen Dale, WV, a son of the late Jerry and Louise (Thomas) Brown. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired truck driver.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a daughter, Candi Brown; and a grandson, Richard Ward, Jr. He is survived by his son, Jimmy (Heather) Brown, Jr. of Hilton Head, SC; two sisters, Diane Shelek and Christine (Wayne) Gump, both of Moundsville; a brother, Danny (Marge) Brown of Moundsville; and a grandson, Jimmy Marcine Brown, III.

In accordance with Jimmy’s wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no visitation or services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Moundsville Veterans Honor Guard, 800 First Street, Moundsville, WV 26041.
