Jeanette “Jean” Bernice Kendzora, 88, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Park Health in St Clairsville, Ohio.

Jean was born December 8, 1933 in St. Clairsville to the late John and Ludwika (Krakowski) Dyrdek.

Jean was a former Telephone Operator with Ohio Bell Telephone Company. Above all, she loved being a homemaker. Jean enjoyed caring for her family and showing love, grace and compassion to everyone she met. She called St. Mary’s Catholic Church her parish home. Her faith meant so much to her, she had a deep and abiding love for The Lord and a desire to walk humbly with Him.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband Walter Kendzora and her dear son, Mark Kendzora, and siblings, Edward (Ann) Dyrdek, Josephine (Pete) Zien, and Wanda (Theodore “Dutch”) Zdanski.

Surviving is her loving daughter, Suzanne (Mikeal) Kusic; daughter-in-law, Janell Kendzora; grandson, Thomas John Kendzora; special nephew, Gary Zien; special sister-in-law, Margaret Piccin and loving nieces and nephews; Joan Reed, Karen Krajcovic, and Tom Zdanski.

Jean’s family is very grateful for the love and care she received from beloved neighbors; Jim and Julie De Noble, Vance and Patricia Weeks, and Sharon Mc Cutcheon as well as friends and her church family. Her life was made better by each one.

Family and friends will be received on Monday December 20, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:30am with Mass following, Fr. Tom Chillog officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery – St.Clairsville, OH.
