Jean J. Heim, 91 passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at Blossom Nursing Home in Salem, Ohio following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 5, 1925 in Wellsville, Ohio a daughter to the late Julian Louis and Helen (Cline) Ference. Living her entire life in this area, she worked as a skirt sewer for Franklin Furniture in Canfield, OH for 32 years before retiring in 1985.
She is survived by a brother Theodore S. Ference of Ashtabula, OH and a sister Agnes Schmidt and her husband John of Youngstown, OH and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Heim whom she married August 25, 1945; three brothers: Henry, Bernard and Raymond Ference and two sisters: Helen Ference and Pauline Blaschak.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 12 P.M. with Pastor Norm Eckert officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Funeral Home on Monday, May 16, 2016 one hour prior to the service.
